Instant Pot Recipes from a Chef's Wife and IP Enthusiast

Mom's Crockpot Beef & Gravy Dump Dinner (Non-IP Recipe)

Start to Finish Cook Time: 6 hours
Effort Level: Low!!
Servings: 4-5

My mother hand 4 children, so when she cooked it was as little effort as possible. I remember having this growing up and it's still a go to in adulthood because it's so easy! True dump dinner. Usually I will pair with white rice (highly recommend using me Foolproof IP Rice recipe) and a bag of frozen veggies thrown in the microwave. Double if feeding several mouths.

If you want to jump straight to the recipe, no need to keep scrolling it's right below. If you want step-by-step pictures though, I've included those below the recipe. And as my Chef husband says, "Food is love". Enjoy!

Ingredients
  • 1 lb stew meat, precut into chunks
  • 1 can Campbell's cream of mushroom soup (don't add water)
  • 1/2 tbsp Kitchen Bouquet Browning Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp dried onions
